Description

Repsol is deploying in its Installations of the Refinery in A Coruña the first worldwide Trunking Network based on LTE technology.

This network combines the reliability of Mission Critical services characteristic of Trunking networks, with the potential and quality of LTE communications technology.

Repsol has opted for this project for a solution in service mode that takes advantages of the mobile operators’ self-infrastructure combined with infrastructures dedicated to ensure optimal levels of coverage, quality services and availability, in both places, inside the refinery and in public area of the pipeline.

APTICA was selected by Repsol as Technical Assistance, is providing consultancy, engineering and project office works during the phases of Service Definition, Suppliers Selection and deployment and implementation of the Pilot test in A Coruña.
