Description
APTICA has defined an innovative project to develop an advanced tool to automatically design 5G networks under optimal configurations.
This R&D Project is based on artificial intelligence techniques able to analyze millions of possible optimum configurations for 5G network deployments. This software finds the best location for the base stations and specifies the best parameterization for these. The optimization algorithms follow an evolutionary process model to priorize the configurations according to the objectives specified by the planning user. Usually the requirements are the increase of network coverage and capacity and the minimum investment.
The optimizer tool works for both network environments, rural and urban, and it includes macrocells, smallcells or picocells. The development of this project has demonstrated how relevant is to find the optimal parameterization of the stations for urban environments with high user density.
The outcomes of this project demonstrate the positive contributions this tool can make to identify the best sites and configurations to deploy 5G stations in a high density urban environment. This SW tool is available in XIRIO-ONLINE platform, market by APTICA company.
