Aptica's social responsibility
Aptica has historically shown its commitment and support to future professionals in the field of telecommunications, initially by providing teaching licenses for the radio planning tool Sirenet and the radiating elements design tool A3D to various educational centers, and currently with the tool Xirio-Online since it represents a significant advancement in the radio planning sector by allowing precise and high-quality radio calculations to be performed from a conventional browser and through a standard data connection.
The benefits of educational use of Xirio-Online tool are clear for both, training centres and students. It saves space (classrooms), the teachers comfort in the implementation and evaluation of the practices, etc.; On the other hand, the student’s benefits can be summarize as it follows:
- It provides the opportunity to use a professional radio-planning tool with real data, and acquire quality practical training.
- It allows access from different locations: either in the training centre, either from home.
- It provides access to highest quality and precision mapping and calculation methods; exactly the same as those used by operators, integrators and engineering companies in their real projects.
- It allows to publish and share results on the same tool. This enables students to present practice results to the teacher directly on the tool.
We are convinced, as has been demonstrated during extensive experience with national and international institutions, that the use of these tools in educational entities significantly aids in the understanding of subjects related to the knowledge and design of wireless networks by students.
In this way, Aptica contributes to the improvement of innovation and development in our country, within the telecommunications sector.
“In Aptica we believe that helping in talent training of future professionals, we will provide significant benefit to our society and we will collaborate in the conversion of our industry as an international reference.”
