The City of Rivas receives today more than 120 representatives of public administrations and private entities for the presentation of SUCCESS eLTE (Unified System of Convergent Communications, Emergency, Security and Services based on LTE technology). This is the name to call the FIRST Private broadband mobile communications network for Security and Emergencies users in Spain, and the third one in Europe.

This Project was born to answer the increasing needs for telecommunications of Rivas Local Polices to have access to municipality information systems. With the assistance of APTICA, the City Council of Rivas has analyzed all the capabilities offered by new different technologies, and finally decided to bet for the innovation and evolution to LTE.

This innovating Project has been possible thanks to the collaboration of several companies: APTCA as project manager, TECNICAS COMPETITIVAS as integrator, HUAWEI as technological partner and MASMOVIL as radio spectrum supplier.

As Final result, a Private Communication infrastructure is carried out where voice, video and data services works simultaneously in only one handheld terminal for the improvement of high speed transmissions capabilities between users, increasing the possibilities of information exchange in the operational and administrative functions of the Security and Emergency Services of the municipality of Rivas.
