Description

APTICA has provided professional services in consulting and engineering to COBRA INSTALACIONES Y SERVICIOS in the project of Implementation of a National Mobile Telecommunications Network with TETRA technology in Venezuela, for the use of State Security Forces.

The project, in turn-key modality, has consisted in the development of engineering of the whole system, responsibility for APTICA, supply and implementation of the network for which APTICA has provided project management through the implementation of a Technical Office distributed between Spain and Venezuela.

The system currently deployed has 82 base stations distributed throughout the national territory. 135 new microwave links. 2 new switching and control systems fully redundant. 4 new emergency centres from which it is possible to carry out the tasks of operational management, of the various relevant national security organizations, that work with the new system. The system supports more than 20,000 users.

Within the services provided by APTICA, it is included the training of the staff involved in the new system, in technology, engineering, operation and maintenance.
