Description
Enagas has started the migration process of its nationwide Access Network. Until now, this Network is based in PHD technology using the available fiber along the pipeline to control gas distribution nationwide from more than 600 nodes that compose it.
The new network based on advanced IP protocols, will complete the renewal process of the WAN network that began in 2011 with the deployment of Core Network. This network based IP-MPLS technology, in its day, became in the largest network with these characteristics outside the operators industry.
During these years Aptica , which was selected by Enagas as Technical Assistance for Core and Access projects, has been providing consulting and engineering services in the following phases:
- Technological Selection
- Market Analysis
- Selection of Suppliers
- Design, Configuration
- Project Office
- Suppliers’ management and supervision in field.
