XIRIO ONLINE opens the Indoor, Outdoor-Indoor and Indoor-Outdoor calculation functionality to all users. From September 15, 2018, the application will allow Indoor calculations with any technology in both, flat rate and pay-per-use, modes.

In addition to the possibility of outdoor network planning that already exists in XIRIO ONLINE, the tool adds now the facility to realize the indoor calculation inside of the buildings. This fact consolidates it as the most complete online tool for wireless networks planning.

The Indoor calculations functionality allows a complete design of the network and its evaluation in all aspects (coverage, interferences, capacity, …). It can be used with 3G, 4G, 5G, Wimax, Wifi, TETRA, GSM-R technologies and the rest of the radio services contemplated in XIRIO that are applicable in Indoor environments, such as buildings as well as in tunnels, stadiums and other closed infrastructures.

This new functionality is complemented by an indoor cartography editing tool, which allows the user to enter their own floor plans and define easily their own layers modeling the walls and floors, with their materials, using the XIRIO ONLINE viewer.

The obtained results allow, if it is required, to visually combine in the same tool the signal levels obtained by the simulation of the network coverage for different typologies: Outdoor coverage, indoor coverage, DAS networks (Distributed Antenna Systems), etc.
