ORANGE ESPAÑA has awarded APTICA the contract for the provision of calculation and simulation services for its Spanish mobile network, in all technologies deployed by the operator: 2G, 3G, 4G and 4G +.

APTICA performs coverage calculations and simulations for the mobile networks in Spain of the operator ORANGE ESPAÑA. Calculations and simulations are performed on all the technologies deployed by the operator: 2G, 3G, 4G and 4G +.

APTICA provides a continuous service, updating the coverage figures as the new deployments are consolidating following the strong evolution that the operator's network is suffering especially in the 4G and 4G + area.

APTICA uses its XIRIO ONLINE radio planning tool to carry out the simulations, obtaining both the network coverage maps and the covered population statistics disaggregated at the population centre level in Spain.

On the other hand, ORANGE has access to the tool and the high resolution digital cartography, for this reason is equipped with the means for the analysis and optimization of the current network as well as for the design and planning of the new deployments to be faced by the operator.
