FIBERMUA, the neutral FTTH network deployed around the town of Ermua by the public company of the Ermua City Council PROMOSA, has been awarded by the Association @asLAN in the VI Awards Call for Public Administrations and Organizations as Finalist Success Story in the category of Local Administration – Infrastructure.
The award was received by Ermua City Councilman José Luis Clemente Albiz, responsible among other skills, of design management and content development of the optical fiber in the town, accompanied by Yolanda Verdugo and Carolina Sáez of APTICA company, responsible of the project management and direction.
APTICA has participated in this project since the Ermua City Council needs to materialize the network project idea. Besides carrying out the Control and Supervision Direction of the project, the APTICA assistance to the Ermua City Council has allowed to combine the technical, economic, regulatory and management frameworks ensuring the coordination of the factors and agents involved in the deployment of the project.
