ORANGE SPAIN keeps trusting APTICA the calculating services, simulations of radio coverage and designs of their 5G mobile networks in Spain. In the same way, APTICA has been doing simulations of radio coverage in all technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 4G+ and LTE-M) deployed by the operator in Spain for the last few years.
APTICA provides the current mobile network coverage of the operator, both Non-Stand-Alone (NSA) 5G deployment aided by existing 4G infrastructure and Stand-Alone 5G (SA) which is independent of the 4G network.
These simulations are being done with high-resolution digital mapping and 3D building models for all target areas. These first 5G launches are deployed around the 3.5 GHz band and they are mostly located in large urban environments, although a fast rollout of 5G is foreseen to extend to all regions.
APTICA uses its XIRIO CORPORATE radio planning tool deployed for ORANGE SPAIN, to obtain coverage network maps as well as statistics of covered inhabitants and area across the whole of Spain. 5G technology deployed by ORANGE SPAIN will provide an important change in the network connections of its clients, with a clear enhancement of speed and user experience. In the future, 5G networks will provide groundbreaking solutions for society, offering the possibility to interconnect billions of devices that gather and share information in real time.
