APTICA has completed the development and launch of its advanced optimization tool for 5G networks automatic design and planning based on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This solution offers operators, infrastructure companies and vendors, the maximum guarantee of quality of service for their 5G networks users, achieving a significant improvement in the optimization of their resources with the minimum sustainable and viable investment.

This optimization tool increases the reliability and accuracy of site management being able to analyze millions of possible configurations in 5G network deployment processes, identifying the most suitable location for the base stations and suggesting the most optimal settings for these.

The algorithms used in this application are at the forefront of radio planning innovation. They are able to prioritize and identify best 5G network distributions according to planning users requirements. These requirements are usually aligned with the increase in network coverage, máximum capacity and service quality.

It is important to mention that this tool is developed for both, rural and urban, deployment environments, including macrocells, microcells and picocells. In urban scenarios, where population density is higher, it is vital and of utmost importance to achieve the most optimal parameterization of the base stations.

The integration and commercialization of this optimizer module in XIRIO-ONLINE SaaS platform is planned to be launched for end of 2022.

This R&D project has been developed as part of the agreements and collaborations framework offered by CDTI entity with FEDER co-financing.
