In January and February Aptica coordinated and participated in carrying out two online courses for the development of faculty members and centered in the design and planning of 5G networks. These courses belong to the National Plan for Jobs 2021 of the National Reference Centre of Software Development and Communications (Getafe).

The courses reviewed concepts related to radioelectric transmission and signal propagation, especially those details affecting wireless network planning, to later go deep into the methodologies for the design of mobile networks based on LTE technology (4G) and its evolution NR (5G).

The teachers responsible for the theoretical sessions were members of the Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications (SSR) Department of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). On the other hand, practical sessions were carried out by trainers from Aptica using Xirio-Online as an example of radioelectric planning tool. The courses went down well with the participants and satisfaction with the teaching of these courses was high according to the feedback received from surveys.
