THE PROJECT, WHOSE AIM IS TO DEVELOP COLLABORATIVE FRAMEWORKS AND METHODOLOGIES TO SUPPORT INNOVATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF CROSS-BORDER EMERGING SECTORS, DEVELOPS FORUMS BETWEEN RESEARCHERS AND COMPANIES IN THE FIELD OF POCTEFA PROGRAM, INTERREG IV-A, 2007-2013.

It aims to give creative responses to the challenges of competitiveness and boost a regional development model based on the promotion of emerging economic sectors. All this supporting entrepreneurship and promoting mobility and exchange of entrepreneurs, enterprises and researchers.

Under the slogan Because knowledge and innovation are the engines of sustainable economic growth, the consortium formed by Fomento de San Sebastián, CEIT (Centro de Estudios e Investigación Técnica de Guipuzcoa), ESTIA (Ecole Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles avancées) develops the draft I+E (Investigación – Empresa), which identifies business opportunities, generates methodologies to support entrepreneurs and encourages cross-border collaboration.

APTICA has done a strategic consultancy within the project, targeted to the field of wireless communication technologies, characterizing the innovation ecosystem by analyzing the potential market, making exploration of ideas and projects and business plans and methods of operation, that meet the collaborative goals and feasibility marked on the scope of the I+E project.
